Hi,

If you're coming here for the first time, Hi! Nice to meet you! And if you're going to read some of my older posts from my old teen angst self circa 2012-13, please excuse the pessimistic and emo tone of the posts. I was an angsty teenager who was struggling to ace her SPM. Please disregard any cringey sentences or remarks. I like to think that I am more mature and at a mentally stable state now. I hope any prior posts would not otherwise influence your perception on me.. Have fun reading! Or not, you do you.

Singapore

Before you get all hyped up, no, I didn't go anywhere near the Universal Studios. So, expect no photos from USS in this post. Maybe later kot? But, what can you do in Singapore if you didn't go to USS?!?!?!!

1) Staring at pretty windows.

2) Fuel up with some Nasi Briyani with some murtabaks.

3) Getting on and off the MRTs! Which is extremely cool.

I love how everything moves in fast motion. Even the escalators! Which is super convenient.

4) Staying far away from Marina Bay Sands and measure it with your thumbs and forefinger.

5) Visit the kitty in the city. (that rhymes!)

6) Lepak under the jambatan while it rained heavily for 3 hours straight.

And deciding where to go next. GPS is so mainstream, by the way.

Night came and took away the sun and suddenly, the city glowed.

7) Be mesmerized by the magnificent Christmas decorations.

Johor has been a part of my life since my dad is a Johor-born and bred. But never have I crossed the borders to Singapore in all my 17 years of living, until a couple of weeks ago. It was a day trip via bus. So, we couldn't cover every road and every landmarks. Well thank God for that! Because my legs were starting to give away at the end of our journey. Which continued with all kinds of pain and cramps on my leg muscles the next morning. It's not London, Paris or Rome or anything, but it felt nice to experience something new. Now that my school years is done and over with, I hope for more new experiences to make its way in my life. Amin. (I didn't really work hard for SPM and I had a lot of fun considering that it is my SPM year so I don't really expect much from my results which is sad).
