Hi,

If you're coming here for the first time, Hi! Nice to meet you! And if you're going to read some of my older posts from my old teen angst self circa 2012-13, please excuse the pessimistic and emo tone of the posts. I was an angsty teenager who was struggling to ace her SPM. Please disregard any cringey sentences or remarks. I like to think that I am more mature and at a mentally stable state now. I hope any prior posts would not otherwise influence your perception on me.. Have fun reading! Or not, you do you.

SF: City Hall

Some gloomy San Francisco feels on a relatively cold Seattle day.

I remember being scared on this day. We decided to walk from our motel to the City Hall, which was about a 15-minutes walk, so we thought, yeah we could do that, that's our average walking time to campus. But lo and behold, the sketchiness of San Francisco unraveled within itself and had me scared for life. That was the scariest 15 minutes of my life. Witnessed a guy being arrested by the po po, saw some other guy breaking into a car in the middle of the day in the open space, ran from a homeless woman because she came up to us in close proximity and scared us away. Never walk in San Fran, guys. Maybe we were staying at the sketchier side of the city, but nope, never walking in San Fran again.

But I had good memories of the day too, like, having halal chicken wings on an empty stomach, which picture I did not include in this post because I am currently hungry and broke to get some chicken wings.
