Hi,

It's 8:10am in Malaysia right now and I've been awake since 6:30am? I think. Which is pretty early for me to wake up (my normal wake-up time normally ranges from 11am-1pm) ((don't judge)). I'm not sure whether I'm still in jetlag mode because I really don't know how long it will take to fade off.

My flight back home from Seattle was on Wednesday and I arrived Malaysia on Thursday. It was an 18 hour journey and I am already dreading the fact that I will have to board the plane again in 3 months. It was exhausting and halfway in the air, I wondered why did I torture myself this way. I've always hated take-off, landings, and blocked ears are the worst.

But arriving in Malaysia was the best feeling I've felt in a long time. Eventhough the air feels humid and hot, and sorry for the tmi, but I suffered severe ketibas when I got off the plane lol, but I was so relieved and happy to be home. The first thing Mama said to me was how fat I am (thanks Ma), and I swear my brother grew 5 inches since the last time I saw him. I felt so small.

I'm so glad to be home. To sleep and wake up in my room. To have all of my clothes and books back. It's kinda funny how I've forgotten how my house works, I mean, I've only been gone for 9 months. But I've forgotten what does this switch do, and which one is the toaster's plug, or which jug holds the drinking water.

Oh, fun fact, while I was gone, I've been replaced with a cat. Just an overview: for as long as I have lived, I was never allowed to have a cat despite my never-ending love for them. But once I left home, my family started to allow a cat into the house, loved it, nurtured it and here's the best part: they gave MY plate that I normally used to eat to the cat... I'm still trying to digest the info and be ok with it.

I've been home for 2 days and hopefully, I'll get some things done today, like unpack my bags or get a new Malaysian number. I'm really REALLY sad that I couldn't use my former number. I've grown attached  to the number since it's kinda pretty and I liked how the digits looked (0172248100 so cool ok) and I've used it for as long as I could remember. Sobs.
